Columbia Entrepreneurship is a new organization that resides in the President’s Office with close partnership from the University Office of Alumni Relations and Development. The mission is simple: to help Columbia’s students, faculty and alumni launch Columbia-born ventures.

Application Development Initiative (ADI)
The Application Development Initiative seeks to nurture student creativity and technological aptitude by creating a community and resources for student developers of all talents and interests.

Barnard-Columbia Design For America (DFA)
Barnard/Columbia Design for America (DFA) is part of a national network of passionate young thinkers and activists revolutionizing the way college students engage with and improve the world around us.

Columbia Business Lab (CBL)
Founded in 2012, Columbia Business Lab (CBL) is a co-working and incubator space for first-year alumni of the Columbia Business School MBA program.  CBL provides Columbia’s most promising and dedicated entrepreneurs with a strong ecosystem in which to successfully grow their businesses immediately upon graduation.

Columbia Data Science Society (CDSS)
The Columbia Data Science Society (CDSS) is an interdisciplinary society that promotes data science across Columbia University and the New York City community. Our goal is to understand how to use and manage data to solve complex problems.

Columbia Engineering Entrepreneurship
Columbia Engineering promotes engineering innovation and engaged entrepreneurship. Our entrepreneurship programs provide education and support for Columbia Engineering students and faculty, socially-engaged entrepreneurs, and members of the Harlem community.

Columbia Engineering Graduate Student Council (EGSC)
A site that gives information about the activities of the official graduate student body of the Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science.

Columbia Entrepreneurs Organization (CEO) & Columbia Organization of Rising Entrepreneurs (CORE)
CEO brings students together with some of the most successful entrepreneurs and innovators. Through lectures, panel discussions, interactive workshops we help students gain unique insight and connections to the world of venturing.

Columbia Venture Community (CVC) & Columbia Venture Community Meetup
Columbia Venture Community (CVC) is a private community for Columbia students, alumni and employees interested in all aspects entrepreneurship. The group welcomes members from any school, sector or industry function (e.g. entrepreneur, VC, lawyer).

InSITE
Founded in 1999, InSITE is a two-year Fellowship program comprised of 150 top graduate students in business, law, engineering, computer science, design and PhD and post doctorate programs in natural sciences and medicine from top Universities who are interested in entrepreneurship, technology and venture finance.

NYC Next Idea
New York City is where innovative ideas come to life. This exciting annual competition—now in its fifth year—invites you to develop business plans that can be launched in NYC.

New York City Regional Innovation Node (NYCRIN)
The New York City Regional Innovation Node (NYCRIN) is a network of 25 leading universities in the New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania area. NYCRIN unites, empowers and makes sustainable the unique innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystem in NYC and surrounding region.

Launched by the City (NYCEDC), NYU-Poly, and Columbia University, NYC Media Lab is a public-private partnership encompassing all the universities of NYC.
